Install WPForms on WordPress Website

You can directly install WPForms from the WPForms website. The plugin is seamless in installation.

    1. Download it from the WordPress plugin directory if you are only downloading the Contact Form plugin by WPForms.
    2. If you plan to add the complete plugin package, then you will have to get a trial version from WPForms website.

    3. Next, go to Dashboard > Plugins > Add New Plugin

    4. Once that is done, install the package on your WordPress website.

    5. Activate the plugin and you are ready for configuration of the WP Forms plugin on your website.

    Configuring WPForms On Your Website

      1. You will be taken to the WPForms wizard. You have now two options available to create a form. Either to take the WPForms Challenge or create the form manually.

      2. Click on Let’s Go to start the WPForms challenge.

      4. You can add additional fields to the form if needed. The basic Quote form fields will be First Name, Last Name, Email, and Message.
      5. Once you have finalized the form, click Save.
      6. Now configure the back-end of the form you just created using the WPForms plugin. In this case, you have to add a Sender Email, a subject line, and a message that will be sent to the users who will fill out the Request a Quote form on your website.

      7. Once the form is completely configured, it is time to test it.
      8. You can test the form by submitting the required information on the page where it was created.

      10. Once the contact form is embedded on your WordPress website, test it for real.

      11. That is it. You are now ready to use the WPForms form on your WordPress website without any problem.

      Features of WPForms

      • Multiple Templates

The best part about WPForms plugin is the number of templates it offers. It has every form template that you can think of including Subscription box, Survey form, Lead form, Poll form, and anything else that you can think of. Many new form templates are coming to WPForms now as you read it.

      • Drag & Drop

WPForms offers everything without code, using the drag and drop feature. You can drag any field to or from the form, add a button, and even add necessary information that will be required with the form.

      • Conditional Logic

What if you want to show a different form to a person coming from one country and a different form to a person from another country? With Conditional Logic, you can easily create these changes with the WPForms plugin and ensure that the right people get the right type of form when they view the page.

      • Instant Notifications

Instantly receive notifications from WPForms when someone fills out the form and respond to them quickly. The notifications can be sent through the WordPress dashboard panel or through email reminders.

      • File Uploads

All users have the option to upload files using the form. These files will be saved on WordPress hosting and can be downloaded using the plugin. The file upload forms are mostly used by hiring managers that want visitors to upload their resumes. WPForms is a great choice for such types of forms.

      • Spam Protection

Protect your forms from spammers using CAPTCHA. Prevent automatic submissions and keep cybercriminals at bay with WPForms.

      • Payment Gateway

The best part about WPForms is that you can use the form for receiving payments using the payment gateway. It can be integrated with Stripe, PayPal, and even Authorize.net.

      • Email Marketing Plugin Integration

Want to start a drip campaign for subscribers automatically? With the WPForms, you can easily integrate your forms with popular email marketing software like MailChimp, ActiveCampaigns, and even Hubspot.

      • Webhooks

Another great thing about WPForms is that you can create Webhooks to send the information you receive from the form to a third-party service. Webhooks are simple to make and don’t require any type of coding.

      Shortcomings of WPForms

We have discussed the features of WPForms plugin, it is important to discuss some of the disadvantages so purchasers know what they are dealing with.

      • High Price

The form is one of the costliest forms available for WordPress at $599 per year. That is over $60 per month for the premium version.

      • No Free Version

As said, there are no free complete versions available for WordPress users. WPForms offers a lite version but the form available in that version is the Contact Us form only.

      • Lack Built-in Instructions

There are no built-in instructions for the form – something that you expect especially when you are paying more than $500 per year for a premium form. The instructions are available on the WPForms website but nothing attached with the plugin.

Should You Install WPForms On Your Site?

Yes definitely! Even with all the cons of the WPForms we just mentioned, we haven’t find any other forms plugin that can actually match the features WPForms offers for its users. There are many other forms in the market like Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, but all of these forms have their limitations. Some don’t have conditional logic available like the one in WPForms, some simply don’t offer a ton of features like WPForms. So, there are many limitations with all other plugins.

That being said, WPForms is a great purchase for anyone that is looking to add multiple forms on their WordPress websites. With WPForms, they can easily get more leads, conversions, and orders and increase their digital business with ease.

Do you think we have missed any WPForms feature? If you have used it or are using it and like the WPForms plugin, then help us make the review about it even better by commenting below.
